GILAS Pilipinas Womens claimed the bronze medal in the 2019 Fiba 3x3 U-18 Asia Cup with a 14-11 squeaker over China Saturday in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
With the game tied at 11, Kristine Cayabyab got the putback with 55 seconds remaining.
Angel Surada then buried two pressure-packed freebies with 25.6 seconds left to cap off the podium finish for the girls of coach Patrick Aquino.

China still tried to tie the game, but their long bombs could not find the bottom of the net.
Cayabyab and Surada led the Philippines with five points apiece in this huge breakthrough for the country in its first try in the continental youth 3x3 competition.
Camille Clarin added three points, while Ella Fajardo got one.
Wu Xianglin carried the Chinese with five points in the defeat.
