GILAS Pilipinas Women's booked a ticket to the knockout stages of the 2019 Fiba 3x3 U-18 Asia Cup Thursday in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
The Filipinas silenced the home crowd with a 19-8 victory over hosts Malaysia to advance to the quarterfinals.
Camille Clarin pumped nine points as the Philippines finished 1-1 in Pool A.

Her early assault allowed the Gilas Women's to blast the Malaysians, 14-7, before holding off the hosts late.
Kristine Cayabyab added six points, while Angel Surada had three in the win.
The first day, however, was supposed to be a lot better had the Philippines swept its group stages, suffering a tough 16-14 loss to China earlier in the day.
Clarin failed to force overtime as time expired, with the Chinese pulling off the squeaker.
Mao Zhang poured nine in the win as China snared the top seed in the group at 2-0, with a 15-9 trouncing of Malaysia.
Cayabyab scored six points in that losing effort, as Clarin and Ella Fajardo both had four.
