GILAS Pilipinas coach Tab Baldwin rewarded members of the national training pool on Wednesday night amid a grueling practice schedule of the team.
With the squad having four practices in two days - two on Wednesday and another two on Thursday - Baldwin had the players billeted in a posh hotel in Ortigas.
Team officials also rented a bus so the players won’t have to drive to and from training at the Meralco gym.
“I didn’t want them to get stuck in traffic,” Baldwin said before entering the bus.
The Nationals leave for Chinese Taipei on Friday for the Jones Cup.
