GILAS Pilipinas coach Tab Baldwin is headed to Florida to attend to family matters but team practice will go on as scheduled on Monday.
Baldwin tweeted on Saturday he will leave for Florida to be with his brother Terry, not providing much detail but asking his followers for prayers.
"Heading to Florida to be by my brother's side. Prayers please #ForTerry," wrote Baldwin on his @iHob1111 Twitter account.
Gilas Pilipinas team manager Butch Antonio said Baldwin didn't state when he will return, but the training schedule will be followed.
"It's a family emergency," Antonio said. "No specific date given when (will) he comes back."
The team is preparing for the Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament in July.
