GILAS Pilipinas defeated Lithuania’s World University Games team, 125-102, on Saturday in their fourth tune-up game in Kaunas.

The Nationals have now won their third out of the four tune-up games they’ve played in Lithuania following the victory over the country’s team with players aged 18 to 27 that will compete in the Summer Universiade later this month in Chengdu.
June Mar Fajardo, Justin Brownlee, and Kiefer Ravena led Gilas Pilipinas in their attack even as they played the tune-up game without Scottie Thompson, Dwight Ramos, and AJ Edu.
It was Gilas’ last tuneup game in their European training camp.
Gilas Pilipinas routed Lithuania after outscoring its opponent, 37-10, in the third quarter and being down, 61-63, at the half.
Fajardo had 28 points, while Brownlee added 24 points for Gilas Pilipinas. Ravena had 14 of his 18 points in the first half.
Gilas won its other tune-up games against Ukraine’s under-20 team, and lost to Lithuania’s select professional players.
Arnas Berucka, a Lithuania professional player for BC Wolves, led Lithuania with 15 points.
