GILAS Pilipinas quickly went to work on Thursday night by holding practice at the Foshan International Sports and Cultural Center.
Wasting no time in their final preparations for the Fiba Basketball World Cup, Gilas Pilipinas had a training session at the same venue where all the Group D matches will be played.
Gilas is expected to train again on Friday on the eve of its first match of the 2019 Fiba Basketball World Cup against Italy.
Gilas coach Yeng Guiao emphasized the final days of their preparation will also be geared towards getting used to the conditions not just in the venue but also in Foshan.
