GILAS Pilipinas will go up against Macau Black Bears on July 28 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in a tune-up which serving as a send-off for the team bound for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas made the announcement of the date of the exhibition game as well as the ticket prices of P2,120 for courtside seats, P530 for Patron A, P318 for lower box, P159 for upper box, and P80 for general admission.

Ever since Tim Cone was appointed head coach of the national team, Gilas has been staging send-off games before major tournaments. The game will be a chance for Filipino fans to witness the Gilas side bound for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.
Previously, Gilas defeated the Taiwan Mustangs, 74-64, in a June 24, 2024 tune-up at the Philsports Arena before they went to Europe to prepare for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Last September 22, 2023, Gilas defeated Changwon LG Sakers, 86-81, in a game also at the Philsports Arena before the team left for Hangzhou, China for the 19th Asian Games where the national team claimed the gold medal.
For this upcoming tune-up game, Gilas will play at a much-larger venue at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Philippines will play one more tune-up game in Jeddah before the actual FIBA Asia Cup competition where it will face Chinese Taipei on August 6, New Zealand on August 8, and Iraq on August 10.
