GILAS Pilipinas has arrived at the Inspire Sports Academy to start their build-up for the Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Riga, Latvia.
Gilas coach Tim Cone and the rest of the team immediately buckled down to work in their brief training camp before going back to Manila for their tune-up game against Taiwan Mustangs at the Philsports Arena on Monday.



Naturalized player Justin Brownlee, PBA Finals MVP Chris Newsome, June Mar Fajardo, Kai Sotto, CJ Perez, Japeth Aguilar, Dwight Ramos, Calvin Oftana, Carl Tamayo, Kevin Quiambao, and Mason Amos were spotted in the photos posted by the Inspire Sports Academy Facebook page.
Also seen in the photos posted are Far Eastern University coach and former PBA import Sean Chambers and Barangay Ginebra players Ralph Cu and Donald Gumaru.

The team will then fly on Tuesday to continue their build-up in Europe where they will play friendlies against the national squads of Poland and Turkey.
Gilas Pilipinas will vie for the lone Olympic berth in the OQT where they are grouped with host Latvia and Georgia.
The Philippines will first play the host country on July 4 in Group A before playing Georgia the following day where they hope to clinch a spot in the semifinal round.
Group B is composed of Brazil, Cameron, and Montenegro, which are also trying to book a seat in the Paris Olympics.
