TERRAFIRMA rookie big man Geo Chiu and TNT's veteran internationalist Roger Pogoy have been included in the 20-man Gilas Pilipinas pool for the coming window of the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
The two are on the list of players submitted by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) to basketball’s world governing body as the second round of the qualifiers are set to kick off weekend of next week.

Returning big man Kai Sotto has also been included along with San Miguel Beer’s CJ Perez, who was left out in the final roster during the third window last month.
Completing the list are naturalized player Justin Brownlee, RJ Abarrientos, Justin Baltazar, AJ Edu, June Mar Fajardo, Juan Gomez de Liano, Ange Kouame, Quentin Millora-Brown, Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, Mike Philips, Kevin Quiambao, Dwight Ramos, Troy Rosario, Carl Tamayo, and Scottie Thompson.
Not available among them for the August 28 and 30 windows are Millora-Brown, Philips, Oftana, and Kouame.
"QMB is doubtful with his back surgery, and Mike Philips has his brother’s wedding so he’s begging off," said Cone.
Oftana is out with a hamstring strain and toe injury, while Kouame is currently out of the country.
Also not in the list is naturalized player Bennie Boatwright, who has yet to fully complete his papers on his naturalization.
