FRANCE coach Vincent Collet isn’t planning to make major changes in the team line-up as it begins to chart its preparations for the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympics.

The Les Bleus earned the right to play in the Rio Games after beating Canada, 83-74, in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament finals held Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Almost immediately after the victory, France already began its preparation before its first match against Australia on August 6.

But Collet doesn't want to shake up the roster to be fair to the players who saw action in the qualifiers.

“We haven’t talked about it but we are going to do it tonight,” said Collet. “It’s possible that we are going to change. It’s possible but very little because I want to bring the players that went to the qualification.”

“I think it’s fair for the players who were here,” he added.

From Manila, the Les Bleus is expected to arrive in France on Tuesday, where it will take a one-week break before going to training camp then heads to Argentina for a tournament in its build-up for the Olympics.

“We have a camp in France, which is our favorite spot to prepare. Then we will go to Argentina to have a big tournament with the good teams participating in the Olympics,” said Collet.

“It will be close to Brazil, we will arrive there early August,” he added.
