After all, the former Hotshots import continued to make waves in the international scene, towing Korea past China, 82-74, in their Fiba World Cup qualifying match in the opponent’s home court in Shenzhen on Thursday.
The naturalized center registered 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting, 11 boards, three assists, and one steal in over 36 minutes as the Koreans got payback against the Chinese for their loss in the first window.
Korea thus advanced to the second round of the tournament.
Over at the PBA, the Hotshots are set to field their fourth import in the Commissioner’s Cup in Wayne Chism.
