ENCHO Serrano made it to the semifinals of the 2017 Fiba 3x3 Under-18 World Cup dunk contest after getting the nod from the judges in the qualifying round on Friday in Chengdu, China.
The newest National University Bulldogs recruit was given 48 points on his two dunks to finish in a tie for second place with Haonan Li of China.
The 5-foot-11 Serrano will battle Li, Matej Susec of Slovenia and Vincent Peeters of Belgium, who topped the qualifying round with a 54.
The semifinals will be held on Sunday with the top two players after two rounds battling in the finals.
