CHRIS McCullough was in no mood to talk about a tweet hinting at an interest to be a naturalized player for Gilas Pilipinas on Wednesday night.
The San Miguel import wrote “Naturalized player for Gilas” on his official Twitter page on Tuesday night in a post which he embellished with an emoji of a person raising his right hand.
But after a 51-point performance went for naught in a 112-104 SMB loss to Rain or Shine in Game Three of their PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinal series, McCullough declined to elaborate when asked by reporters about the tweet.
“Not now,” said McCullough.
Despite the loss that cut San Miguel's lead to 1-2 in the best-of-five series, the San Miguel import said he didn’t feel that his effort went to waste.
“I’m not going to say it was wasted. I played a tough game, played a hard game. We just didn’t win the game,” said McCullough.
When asked what he felt was the reason for the loss, McCullough said: “I don’t know. Bad calls maybe. We just didn’t finish the game.”
