BC Astana import Justin Carter made a sudden turnaround and apologized for the controversial tweet he posted Friday against Chooks To Go-Pilipinas that drew the ire of Filipino basketball fans.

"Want to apologize to the Chook to go fans," the 30-year-old posted on his account @_smooth_J on Sunday night.

Carter, 30, posted a message saying he lost to "the sorriest team I ever played against," obviously referring to Chooks-To-Go-Pilipinas shortly after Kazakhstan suffered a 73-65 loss to the Philippines in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup in Zhenzou, China.
The Creighton product was obviously frustrated after being limited to just 10 points against the Philippine side bannered by import Isaiah Austin and amateur standout Kiefer Ravena.
Two days after drawing flak, Carter apologized to Chooks' fans.
"Y'all beat us fair and square," he stressed.
