SEABA didn’t go into detail on where in the province the games will be held.
The Philippines will host a Southeast Asian tournament for the first time since the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in Manila.

Incidentally, the SEABA tournament will be the first for LA Tenorio as Gilas Youth head coach. Batangas is also Tenorio’s home province.
Tenorio was appointed as Gilas Youth head coach last November, replacing Josh Reyes, with the team conducting tryouts beginning in February.
Other events in the region include the FIBA U16 Women’s Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers 2025 in Hanoi from May 14 to 18, the SEABA U17 3x3 Cup to be held either September or October in a venue to be announced, and the 33th Southeast Asian Games 5-on-5 and 3x3 from December 9 to 20 in Bangkok, Thailand.
