    Australia scores stunning victory, halts USA’s 78-game win streak

    AUSTRALIA stunned Team USA, 98-94, in a Fiba World Cup tuneup match on Saturday in Melbourne.

    The Boomers snapped the USA's 78-game win streak in major tournaments and exhibition matches.

    Patty Mills scored 30 points, while Andrew Bogut scored 16 and was a rebound short of a double-double.

      Joe Ingles added 15 points for the Boomers.

      Team USA got 22 points from Kemba Walker and 20 from Harrison Barnes.

      Kyle Kuzma sat out the game due to a sore left ankle.
