ANGOLA lost all three of its games in the recently-concluded Kings’ Cup held in Amman, Jordan as part of their tune-up matches for the Fiba Basketball World Cup.
Angola suffered defeats at the hands of Mexico, 78-76, eventual champion Jordan, 70-56, and Portugal, 72-67.
The Angolan national team will be one of the opponents of the Philippines in the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup where they are in Group A. They will face each other on August 27 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Atlanta Hawks cager Bruno Fernando saw action in the tournament where he finished with 17 points and nine rebounds in the match against Mexico.
Childe Dundao, who plays for Petro de Luanda in the domestic league, had 18 points in the game against Jordan.
