    Angola coach tweets complaints about difficult conditions in Foshan

    THE first day of Angola in Foshan for the Fiba Basketball World Cup has not been good in the eyes of its head coach Will Voigt.

    The American coach wrote a tweet about the experience of not just the Angola squad but also Italy in their first day in Foshan where Group D of the World Cup will be played.

      In his tweet, Voigt claimed the Italy squad was not given balls during their practice, while his team experienced several inconveniences as well.

      “First 24 hours in Foshan and so far @BasketItalyit was refused to be given basketballs to practice with, we were refused a conference room, there is no internet working and they are charging everyone to wash practice gear and uniforms. You can do better China & @FIBA… #FIBAWC,” wrote Voigt.

      Angola and Gilas Pilipinas collide in the final match of the group on Sept. 4.

      Gilas Pilipinas held practice on Thursday night at the Foshan International Sports and Cultural Center but there were no reports of similar incidents with the Angola and Italy squad.
