Mark Belo had 14 points and Roger Pogoy added 10 for the Tamaraws, who won their sixth game of the tournament.

“San Beda plays similar to powerhouse La Salle,” Racela said. “They like going to the post and they have an advantage in Ola (Adeogun). It was a test for us.”

“Anthony (Hargrove) was struggling and was saddled with fouls but that is something that we could learn pagdating sa UAAP. We will be a lot better defending (Arnold) Van Postal. The bigs were ready to play,” Racela said.

FEU led early, taking a 24-13 first-quarter lead. The Tamaraws also scored more turnover points than the Red Lions, 24-2.
