FAR EASTERN University whipped La Salle College-Antipolo, 86-42, in its opening game in the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard basketball tournament at the Enderun Colleges gym in Taguig City recently.
Aycei Inigo had 21 points and six rebounds for the Tamaraws, who got their campaign going on a winning note in the 25-under division of the tournament.
Christian Fajarito had 11 points and nine rebounds as College of Saint Benilde beat Centro Escolar University-B, 54-40, also in the 25-under class.
In the 15-under division, De La Salle Zobel beat Skyhawk South Ballers, 53-38, while Adamson defeated Bataan Warriors, 73-42.
The Warriors, however, recovered with a 55-41 win over La Salle College-Antipolo.
In the 12-under division, Marist School edged out Chiang Kai Chek College, 61-56.
The tournament is sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and supported by Gatorade, LGR, Slam, Mighty Sports, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Secret Fresh Ronac, Coach Athletic Trainers’ Tape, and Magic 89.9.
