KAI Sotto is moving closer and closer to making it to the NBA.
But first things first, the teen prodigy needs to get stronger to beat his father Ervin in an arm-wrestling match.
In a video posted by the elder Sotto, the two engaged in an old school bunong braso as they celebrated Father's Day in the US.
Ervin shared the exchange with his 18-year-old son in the caption.
Kai asked, "Sa tingin mo Dad, mas malakas ka pa rin sa akin?" to which Ervin responded, "Aba sige. Malalaman natin yan pag tinalo mo ko sa bunong braso."
The beefier Ervin beat his son in mere seconds.
It's only a matter of time, though, before Kai can finally topple his father.
After all, the 7-foot-2 center is expected to undergo more strenuous training as he begins his path in the NBA G League select team where he's not only going to build his body up but also get all the training and preparation he needs to get to the pro league and become the first homegrown Filipino to make it to the NBA.
