The Green Archers had a busy offseason, getting commitments from several high school stars in Mark Dyke, Jollo Go, Joshua Caracut, and Enzo Navarro.
The Red Lions, led by Ola Adeogun and Baser Amer, on the other hand, are coming off a two-week training in Las Vegas.
Eighteen teams will see action in this edition of the Filoil preseason event.
The Archers and Lions are in Group B with Centro Escolar University, Lyceum, Mapua, University of the Philippines, University of the East, University of Santo Tomas, and Southwestern University.
Group A has Adamson, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Far Eastern University, Jose Rizal University, Letran, National University, Perpetual Help. College of Saint Benilde, and University of San Jose Recoletos.
