Ricci Rivero, Mbala lead La Salle romp vs Chung Chou University to stay unbeaten in Taiwan tilt

LA Salle picked up its third win after beating Chung Chou University, 97-74, on Friday in the BLIA Cup University Basketball Tournament in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Green Archers stayed unbeaten entering the playoff round of the tournament that the team is using in preparation for the coming Season 80 of the UAAP in September.

Ricci Rivero tallied 23 points, while Ben Mbala and Andrei Caracut scored 20 and 17 markers, respectively, for the Green Archers in the win.

The reigning UAAP champion beat Chie Hsin University, a top collegiate team in Taiwan, in their first game before beating Vanguard University, 84-81, in a hard-fought game in overtime on Thursday.
