DE la Salle-Zobel logged back-to-back victories over the weekend and are just a win away from sweeping the 13-Under category of the 31st Women’s Basketball League at the Xavier School gym.
DLS-Z swamped St. Stephen’s High School (0-1), 84-9, on Saturday then came back on Sunday with a 52-28 rout of Miriam College for its third straight win in its five-team class.
It was a sorry loss for Miriam College as it earlier drubbed St. Pedro Poveda College (0-2), 58-31.
DLS-Z’s 18-Under squad crushed Miriam College (0-2), 58-34, to lead Group B undefeated with three wins.
Chiang Kai Shek College also remained unbeaten in Group A in the tournament sponsored by Milo as it routed University of Perpetual Help (0-2), 52-28.
