DILIMAN College beat Centro Escolar University, 75-63, to win the Fr. Martin Cup Summer Basketball Tournament at the San Beda Gym.
Adama Diakhite had 31 points and 18 rebounds, while Rickson Gerero added 21 points for Diliman College.
Diliman College coach Rensy Bajar lauded the team's defense in controlling CEU's Orlan Wamar, JK Casino and Paul Galinato.
"It's about how we stop them from scoring," said Bajar.
The Blue Dragons outscored the Scorpions 18-6 and held on for the win.
Wamar scored 14 points for the Scorpions, who defeated Emilio Aguinaldo College, 83-77, in the semifinals.
Casino had 11 points, while Galinato had eight. Diliman College defeated Letran, 91-85, in the semifinals of the tournament supported by Armor On Sportswear.
