DE Ocampo Memorial College forced a decider for the title in NCRAA 25th season with an 84-71 victory over Olivarez College in Game Two of the finals the Olivarez College Gym in Paranaque.
The Cobras lost the series opener in overtime but were in control throughout Game Two to set up a winner-take-all showdown on Friday.
“Pangatlong sunod na taon na kaming naglalaro sa finals. Yung nakaraang dalawa, parati kaming second. Sana medyo mabago naming this year,” said De Ocampo coach Ronnie Dojillo.
Most Valuable Player Dahrell Caranguian did not start, but scored 23 points to lead all scorers.
The Cobras led, 45-34, at the half and held on for the win.
Tyrone dela Cruz scored 10 of his 15 points in the fourth period, while Jhonard Clarito had 12 points.
The rubber match is set on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Olivarez College Gym.
