DAVID Carlos of the Makati Super Crunch captured the MPBL All-Star Slam Dunk contest on Saturday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Carlos, a professional dunker, did just enough to win the contest, doing a reverse dunk over one person to win the crown and the P20,000 top prize.
Carlos beat Carlo Escalambre of the Imus Bandera, King Destacamento of Bacoor Strikers, and Christopher Menquez of the Paranaque Patriots in the final.
Carlos took the top spot in the eliminations by scoring 93 points in the eliminations. It was all Carlos as most of the competitors struggled to complete their dunks.
