OPENING day of the PBA D-League attracted a surprise guest in Vice Ganda, the controversial television host and comedian who is a known supporter of UAAP games but not of the developmental league.
Naturally, fans started asking who or which team Vice has come to support as soon as the popular showbiz personality walked in at halftime of the day's third game between Wangs Basketball and AMA University at the Ynares Sports Arena.
Vice Ganda, Jose Marie Borja Viceral in real life, has long supported the basketball team of alma mater Far Eastern University and has in fact been linked with some of its players in the past.

But the nucleus of the Tamaraws team that finished runner-up in the last UAAP championships had no game on this day and there are no FEU players suiting up for either side.
Also, Vice Ganda is not a known endorser of AMA, whose only link to showbiz happened when it tried to include teen idol Daniel Padilla in its D-League team until the actor put his foot down.
On the other hand, Wangs' does have a showbiz personality in its roster in player-turned-actor Ervic Vijandre.
On who he is really suppoting remains a mystery as Vice Ganda declined requests for interviews from sports journalists.
