TANDUAY just barged into the win column, but staying on the winning track won't be easy as the Rhum Masters square off with AMA Online Education in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Thursday.

The game starts at 5 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, with the Rhum Masters looking to follow up a rousing 94-81 victory over Wangs Basketball on Monday.

Tanduay coach Lawrence Chongson said they're bracing for a tough match against an AMA side led by Jeron Teng.

"They're on a high right now and they got the best player in the league," said Chongson of Teng, who has averaged league-best 27.0 points three games into the conference.

Teng expects to be a marked man on defense again but expressed confidence Tuesday that his teammates can step up as the Titans hope to bounce back from a 78-73 loss to Racal.

Meanwhile, Cignal San Beda shoots for a second straight win when it locks horns with Wangs in the opening game at 3 p.m.

Cignal coach Boyet Fernandez is pinning his hopes on a handful of veterans to lead the young team to its second win in three outings.

"Our guys are young and are coming off college, so the leadership and experience of our veterans like Byron Villarias will definitely help us," said Fernandez, whose team is fresh from an 88-74 win over Cafe France.
