SAN Sebastian has forged a tie-up with the City of Valencia in Bukidnon for its campaign in the upcoming 2019 PBA D-League season.
San Sebastian coach Egay Macaraya said Valencia through mayor Azucena Huervas will be supporting the team in a campaign that forms part of the Stags' buildup for the 95th season of the NCAA.
“We thank Mayor Huervas and the entire city council for supporting the team. We want to have a solid partnership with them in the field of local sports development especially in basketball,” said Macaraya.
Macaraya also thanked San Sebastian president Fr. Nemecio Tolentin, athletic director Fr. Glyn Ortega, and team manager Ramil Ranara of Peltans Construction for also being instrumental in the Stags’ stint in the PBA D-League.
City of Valencia councilor Policarpio Murillo IV will serve as team manager, while Rudirex ‘DX’ Ampo will be the assistant team manager in the D-League.
Alyn Bulanadi, RK Ilagan, and Alvin Capobres are expected to lead the way for the Stags in their campaign in the PBA D-League with Michael Calisaan already in the PBA after being drafted by Magnolia.
