ST. CLARE College Virtual Reality continued its winning run in the 2019 PBA D-League, trouncing Family Mart-Enderun, 71-61, Thursday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Irven Palencia led the balanced attack for the Saints with his 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists to keep his side unbeaten through four games in the Aspirants Group.
"Bonus na lang sa amin yung 4-0, pero di namin tinitignan yung record. Goal namin is makapunta kami sa top four and from there, mas pagbubutihan namin. Ayaw namin mag-relax," said coach Jinino Manansala.
Joshua Fontanilla added 14 points, three boards, and three dimes, while Ray Rubio got 11 points and six boards.
Junjie Hallare was happy to take the backseat and do his job on the defensive end with seven points and 11 rebounds, as Malian center Mohammed Pare had six points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks for St. Clare as it once again repeated on its NAASCU rival.
Joseph Kouakoa was the lone Family Mart-Enderun player to score in double figures with 11 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.
The Titans suffered their third defeat to fall down to 0-3 in their group.
