THE PBA D-League match between NLEX and JRU has tipped off with Greg Slaughter still out of the Road Warriors' official lineup.
The seven-foot former Ateneo Blue Eagles center has not been given the green light by the developmental league and is now just hoping to play in the Road Warriors’ next game against Informatics on November 20.
“Game day vs JRU. I hope this will be the last game I have to sit out,” wrote Slaughter on this Twitter account @GWillSlaughter.
Slaughter is being asked by the PBA for an official communication from the Bureau of Immigration that the certificate of dual citizenship he submitted to the league is enough to prove that he is eligible to play in the league.
The league had asked for a certificate of recognition but the BI said that it was not necessary as he had already taken his oath as a Filipino when he was 17.
