METROPAC-San Beda and Marinerong Pilipino collide in an all-important Foundation Group clash Thursday in the 2019 PBA D-League at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

At 6-2, the Movers are looking for a quick rebound after their tough 96-92 double-overtime loss to Valencia City Bukidnon-SSCR on Tuesday and put themselves in the running for the group's top two seeds.

Veterans Clint Doliguez, Donald Tankoua and Calvin Oftana showed promise in supporting sophomore guard James Canlas, but they have to sustain that if they want Metropac-San Beda to end its eliminations schedule on a high note.

Game time is at 12 p.m.

Meanwhile, a loss for Marinerong Pilipino will eliminate the team from the playoff race and gift FEU the last playoff ticket in the group.

Pressure is on for the Skippers, especially after their tough 86-85 defeat to Diliman College-Gerry's Grill last week.

Newcomers Mike Ayonayon and Jhonard Clarito are counted on together with Santi Santillan and Kib Montalbo to keep Marinerong Pilipino's hopes alive as it is in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since joining the league in 2017.
