GO for Gold-CSB recorded its first winning streak of the 2019 PBA D-League season, turning back Che'Lu Bar and Grill, 101-92, on Monday at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
Roosevelt Adams and Justin Gutang were unstoppable as they guided the Scratchers to back-to-back wins to even their record to 3-3 in the Aspirants Group.
Adams poured 22 points, 12 rebounds and three assists, as Gutang got 20 points, four assists, three boards and two steals
Go for Gold-CSB staged a 14-0 run bridging the final two quarters as they battled back from a 63-59 deficit and took a 73-63 lead early in the fourth quarter, using that to explode for 37 points in the payoff period.
Clement Leutcheu added 15 points and nine rebounds, Yankie Haruna contributed 15 points, eight boards and four assists, as Unique Naboa got 11 in the conquest.
"I like how we battled and stayed composed. We were down early in the game and we were able to execute," said coach Charles Tiu.
Jhaps Bautista paced Che'Lu with 26 points in the defeat.
The Revellers saw their two-game win streak snapped to fall to a 3-2 record.
