CHE'LU Bar and Grill-San Sebastian kept its win run going, fending off Gamboa Coffee Mix-St. Clare, 79-73, on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at the Pasig City Sports Center.
The Revellers nearly blew an 11-point lead early in the fourth period, but showed composure in the waning seconds to claim their fourth straight victory for a 6-3 record.
Things got interesting in the final minutes when the Coffee Lovers pulled to within four on Aris Dionisio's basket and Trevis Jackson’s triple, 75-71.
Samboy de Leon saved the day for San Sebastian by canning four pressure packed free throws.
De leon had nine points and nine rebounds, but it was RK Ilagan who led the Revellers with 17 points, three rebounds and five assists.
Jeepy Faundo added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Coffee Lovers, meanwhile, dropped to a 3-3 tally.
Jackson had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Dionisio posted a double-double of 14 markers and 12 rebounds.
