REY Nambatac held his head high even after Racal faltered in its quest for the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup crown on Thursday.
The Tile Masters came close to winning their first D-League championship, but bowed to Cignal-San Beda in a thrilling Game Three, 81-78, at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Nambatac, though, remained positive in the face of defeat.
"Para sa akin, may magandang blessing pa na darating," said Nambatac, who finished with eight points.
That blessing could come in the form of a championship in another league.
Racal faces Hobe Macway in the Republica Cup finals on Sunday, with the Tile Masters looking to atone for their defeat in the deciding match in the D-League championship series.
The Letran star vowed Racal will come out more aggressive from start to finish to make sure not to waste another opportunity to become champions.
"Babawi kami dun. Mas gutom kami ngayon. Dun na lang namin ibubuhos lahat," he said.
