WANGS Basketball-Letran returns to action after a long break as it takes on Jose Rizal University in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Monday.

The Couriers hope the 18-day break will allow them to come out rejuvenated in the 4 p.m. match at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

Wangs is eager to get back on track following an 84-96 loss to Marinerong Pilipino last February 8 and improve a 2-2 win-loss record.

The Heavy Bombers (1-4), on the other hand, are just as eager as their foes, leaving no stones unturned in finding ways to turn things around in their Aspirants’ Cup campaign.

"Ang pinagkaiba lang talaga yung effort and willingness ng mga players to play defense and sumunod sa pinapagawa namin," said JRU coach Gio Lasquety.

Meanwhile, Gamboa Coffee Mix-St. Clare and Perpetual clash in the 2 p.m. tussle.

Tied at 2-2, the two teams are looking to move up the ranks and join the upper half of the standings currently topped by Akari-Adamson with a 4-1 record.
