RAYMOND Aguilar registered a double-double, highlighted by a huge triple in the endgame, as University of the Philippines-QRS/JAM Liner defeated National University-BDO, 90-85, on Thursday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

Aguilar broke an 81-81 tie with a triple for a four-point cushion, 89-85, with 26 seconds to play.

“It was a different experience. It’s kinda hard to blend college and professional guys together because it’s a different game. My guys are used to certain things so it’s tough,” said UP-QRS/JAM Liner consultant Joe Ward.
