    Racal, Belorio help Razorbacks defeat Wangs and preserve unbeaten record

    KEVIN Racal and Jonathan Belorio quickly made their presence felt in their first game back as Hogs Breath Café beat Wangs Basketball, 109-93, to stay undefeated on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

    Racal and Belorio, members of the Letran squad that finished second in the NCAA, were making their first appearance in the new season of the developmental league.

    The Knights duo had 19 of the Razorbacks’ 30 points in the second quarter to lead them to their third straight win in the conference.

    Racal finished with 15 points, while Belorio added 10 markers, their second quarter efforts putting the Razorbacks ahead, 56-44, at the half.

    Knights head coach Caloy Garcia also rejoined the team after missing the Razorbacks’ second game of the conference.

    Paul Sanga and Jansen Rios led Hogs Breath in scoring with 17 points each as they helped hold off Wang, which entered the final frame behind by just seven points, 75-68.

    Wangs Basketball (93) – Juico 20, Galliguez 15, Vijandre 14, Acosta 12, Ilad 10, Banal 6, Gomez 5, Macuha 5, Castro 4, Saitanan 2, Sanchez 0.

    Quarterscores: 26-22; 56-44; 75-68; 109-93.
