CAGAYAN Valley completed a sweep of the elimination round with a 104-66 win over Wangs Basketball on Monday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Marikina Sports Center.

Jason Melano had a game-high 23 points for the Rising Suns, who finished the eliminations with an 11-0 win-loss record.

Abel Galliguez added 12 while Don Trollano scored 11 for Cagayan Valley, which last week secured the No. 1 spot with an 80-77 victory over Hapee.

Cagayan Valley will face the winner of the Jumbo Plastic-Cebuana Lhuillier quarterfinal tiff that starts on Thursday.

The Giants own a twice-to-beat edge over the Gems being the fourth-seed.

Wangs ended up with a 2-9 slate.
