MIKE Tolomia posted his first career triple-double, leading Phoenix Petroleum-Far Eastern University back from a 22-point deficit in the third quarter to beat AMA Online Education, 114-102, on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

Tolomia had 28 points, 22 all in the second half, with 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Accelerators, who started the fourth with an 18-5 run after trailing 49-71 in the third period. He hit a key four-point play that put Phoenix ahead, 94-92, on the way to their second straight win.

Phoenix Petroleum coach Eric Gonzales, however, rued the Accelerators’ flat start that led to his team being down 42-53 at the break.
