MIKE Tolomia looks to take home two silverware on Tuesday when Phoenix goes for the jugular against Tanduay in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup finals at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna.
Tolomia has a shot at duplicating the feat his teammate Mac Belo did in the Aspirants’ Cup, winning both the MVP award and the championship.
While he is trying to steer the Accelerators to a season sweep, the former FEU star is also on track to win the coveted individual title after norming 19.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.
Racal's Jonathan Grey and Cafe France's Carl Bryan Cruz are also in the running for the award despite failing to lead their respective teams to the finals.
Grey averaged 14.9 points and 2.9 assists to help Racal finish atop the heap after the elimination round.
Cruz had a stellar performance all-conference long, averaging 15.9 points.
Other players who are being considered for the award are Tanduay's Gelo Alolino and Reden Celda, Phoenix's Ed Daquioag, Racal's Philip Paniamogan, and Cafe France's Mon Abundo.
