    Llagas, Pessumal hit crucial baskets as Tanduay stretches streak to three, keeps AMA winless

    PARI Llagas and Von Pessumal hit crucial baskets in the fourth quarter as Tanduay defeated AMA Online Education, 92-83, to claim its third straight victory in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

    Llagas had 18 points, while Pessumal added 16 off the bench as Tanduay tied QRS-JAM Liner for fourth place in the team standings with a 3-2 win-loss card.

    Llagas hit two free throws that broke a 69-69 tie, and later made five charities that made it 84-77 before Pessumal hit a triple at the 1:06 mark for an 87-80 lead.

    Jerramy King scored 18 points and Jammer Jamito added 14 for AMA, which remained winless in four games, tying the ZC Mindanao Aguilas at the bottom of the team standings.
