WANGS Basketball's fate in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup now hinges on their foes.
In limbo with a 5-5 record, the Couriers sit back and wait for the results of the remaining matches that will determine whether they will make it to the quarterfinals.
Wangs head coach Pablo Lucas is keeping his fingers crossed things will go in their favor.
"Di tayo sigurado (kung makakapasok) kasi depende na tayo sa iba," said Lucas, whose team suffered a heartbreaking 82-83 loss to Marinerong Pilipino on Thursday.
Wangs needed just one victory to advance to the quarterfinals but dropped their games against Tanduay and the Skippers.
But it hardly dampened their spirits as the Couriers remained optimistic that everything will fall into place at the end of the elimination round.
Another lesson learned."
