WANGS Basketball-Letran and Che'Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian look to build on their respective season-opening victories as they face off in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Monday.

The last match of the triple-header starts at 5 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Wangs coach Jeff Napa saw a lot of positives in Wangs rout of AMA Online Education in the opener.

“No matter what happens, ito ang binuo ko na team kaya ito yung sasandalan ko. Positibo ako sa potensyal ng team, pero dapat magtrabaho lang kami,” said Napa, who will lean on Bong Quinto and JP Calvo anew.

Revellers coach Stevenson Tiu echoed the sentiment, but added that he has yet to adjust to his players led by Michael Calisaan.

“Nanalo kami because of the skills and talent ng mga players,” said Tiu in the aftermath of an 83-70 conquest over Perpetual on Monday.

“Medyo mali ko rin kasi naga-adjust pa ako kaya umaasa kami purely sa talent. Pero tingin ko naman, with more familiarity, makaka-adjust din ako sa mga players ng team.”

Centro Escolar University opens its season against Marinerong Pilipino at 3 p.m. after the 1 p.m. match pitting Batangas-EAC and Gamboa Coffee Mix-St. Clare.
