Rodrigue Ebondo goes 20-20, Paul Zamar also scores 20 points as CafeFrance whips Blustar

RODRIGUE Ebondo had 20 points and collared 20 rebounds to lead CafeFrance to a 90-61 win over Blustar Detergent on Thursday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena.

The Bakers leaned on Ebondo to improve their record to 6-1 in the absence of suspended forward Carl Bryan Cruz.

Paul Zamar also scored 20 points, while Jopher Custodio, debuting for CafeFrance, had 14 points.

"We focused on our transition defense, controlling boards, and attacking the middle. The game plan was very effective and I'm happy that everybody contributed," said CafeFrance coach Egay Macaraya.

Juami Tiongson scored 17 points for the Dragons (1-7).
