RACAL and Tanduay battle for a share of second place on Thursday as the PBA D-League Foundation Cup takes its act to the Strike Gym in Bacoor, Cavite.

The Tile Masters and the Rhum Masters collide at 4 p.m. with both teams looking to break free from sharing similar 3-1 win-loss records in the developmental league’s first gameday in Cavite.

The winner will join idle CafeFrance, which currently sits at solo second with a 4-1 win-loss slate.

Racal is coming off a 122-60 blowout over Blustar on Tuesday, but the team is not expecting an equally easy match against Tanduay.

“It's going to be a good game. We just want to get prepared against Tanduay and with the way we played, I think we have a good chance to win,“ said Racal coach Caloy Garcia.

On the other hand, Tanduay is also on a high after handing CafeFrance its first loss with an 84-80 decision over the Bakers last week, but still faces an acid test against Racal.

“It will be another tough ordeal for us, facing formidable foes one after the other,“ said Tanduay coach Lawrence Chongson. “But this is the fun part in competition and we'll just have to be ready. They're gonna be a tough opponent, no doubt, and we'd really need a lot of breaks going our way for us to be at par with Racal.“

In the first game, Blustar (0-4) and Topstar ZC Mindanao Aguilas go for its first win at 2 p.m.
