JUMBO Plastic Linoleum defeated Livermarin, 87-66, on Thursday at the JCSGO gym to move a step closer to the quarterfinals of the PBA D-League Foundation Cup.

The Giants improved their record to 4-4 to tie KeraMix for fifth place, needing a win over lowly MP Hotel to formalize their entry to the quarterfinals and avoid a possible four-way tie for the final two spots in the next round.

AMA (4-5) and Tanduay Light (3-5) still have a shot at the quarterfinals. The Rhum Masters face KeraMix in their final assignment with the Mixers also looking for a win to secure a quarterfinal berth.

Two-team ties will be broken with the winner-over-the-other rule, while three and four-way ties will be broken via quotient system.

Philip Paniamogan had 23 points while Denice Villamor added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Giants.
