Coach explains why PBA D-League top draft pick Owen Graham left out of AMA lineup
AMA recruit Owen Graham is doubtful for the D-League Aspirants Cup.

THE surprise top pick in the PBA D-League draft may not see action in the season-opening Aspirants Cup after all, as Fil-Canadian Owen Graham has yet to complete the requirements.

The AMA Titans have left Graham out of the roster for the Aspirants’ Cup, and coach Mark Herrera revealed they have yet to secure the necessary documents.

Herrera did not divulge what specific paperwork they still need, or whether they will be able to insert the 6-foot-4 Graham into the lineup during the tournament.

Still, Graham is able to see action for the Titans in other leagues such as the NCRAA.

"May kulang pa syang papers," said Herrera, who didn't specify which document Graham is trying to secure.

The Titans face Wangs Basketball-Letran in their tournament opener on January 23 and Herrera will lean on a core led by big man Andre Paras and Embons Bonleon.
