MAC Belo will miss Phoenix’s game against Topstar ZC Mindanao Aguilas on Monday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup as he serves a one-game suspension for being ejected from their previous game.

Belo was ejected early but the Accelerators managed to score a 97-94 win over Blustar Dragons on June 16, their fourth in as many games.

The Accelerators stake their unblemished slate against the winless Aguilas at 4 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Coach Eric Gonzales said the players lack the drive and he is concerned other teams that are hungry for wins would simply be able to topple them from the top of the leaderboard.

“Ilang games na namin yan nao-obserbahan. Parang walang fire yung mga players,” said Gonzales.

Blustar looks to get its second consecutive win against AMA at 6 p.m.

Standings: Phoenix 4-0, CafeFrance 4-1, Racal 4-1, Tanduay 3-2, Blustar 1-4, AMA 0-4, Topstar 0-4.
